Who is the Medicare 101 seminar for?
Anyone in the Houston area who is turning 65, retiring and losing employer coverage, helping a parent enroll, or simply confused by Medicare mailers and TV ads. No current coverage is required to attend.
Is the seminar really free?
Yes. There is no charge to attend, and you are not obligated to buy anything. We do not charge clients for Medicare plan reviews. If you enroll through us, the insurance carrier may pay a commission; your premium is not increased because you work with a broker.
What will I learn in 60 minutes?
We cover Original Medicare (Parts A and B), Medicare Advantage (Part C), prescription drug coverage (Part D), Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans, enrollment windows, late-enrollment penalties, and how to check whether your doctors and prescriptions fit a plan.
Do I have to attend in person?
We offer both in-person sessions in the Houston area and live online webinars. In-person meetings are by appointment; we do not have a walk-in office — 1415 S. Voss Rd is a mailing address only. You can pick the format that works best when you register.
When should I attend if I am turning 65?
Ideally 2–3 months before your 65th birthday month. Your Initial Enrollment Period begins three months before the month you turn 65 and ends three months after, so attending early gives you time to compare plans without pressure.
Will you talk about my specific doctors and drugs?
The seminar explains how to compare plans using your own doctors, pharmacies, and medication list. For a one-on-one review of your specific situation, you can book a private 15-minute plan review after the session.
